"UNLEASHING OUR PRAISE AND THANKSGIVING"

Let us come and free ourselves from the bagage and bondage that our everyday life puts on us!

Many of us have stressful seasons as women, at times our past comes to haunt us our shortcomings to remind us of our failures as women! I love this image of the women with the alabaster jar full of oil! She had a past and she felt so helpless and confused with torment each day of her life. The day she met Jesus everything changed for her, suddenly she was freed from all that torment and quilt and bondage that weighed her down! As women we tend to not forgive ourselves for things we have done or were involved in our past! This is one of the hardest things that we women suffer with self forgiveness, Jesus has already forgiven you and me the day he died on the cross for me and you and all of humanity! Whatever it is that you are facing in your heart today free yourself from it and lay it at the feet of Jesus! Jesus understands you and understands the pain and the sorrows that you have been through! Today is a day of freedom let him free you from all of those thoughts and guilt and unforgiveness! This woman understood the value of her freedom when she met Jesus as the scripture tells us.

Matt 26:6 Now when Jesus was in Bethany, at the home of Simon the leper, 7 a woman came to Him with an alabaster vial of very expensive perfume and she poured it on Jesus’ head as He reclined at the table. 8 But when the disciples saw it they were indignant and angry, saying, “Why all this waste of money!

This woman poured the oil out of the alabaster jar as the jar was broken. The custom in those days was that this jar was filled with oil for the daughters and when the time came for her to marry it was broken on the feet of the man that came to ask for her hand in marriage. This was her way thanking the Lord and her form of worship unto Jesus. Her gesture of anointing Jesus showed Him honor. She knew that no one could of done for her what Jesus did for her. Not only did He set her free but He healed her mind and valued her as a woman it brought great healing to her heart and life. This extravagant act of worship and praise and thanksgiving was noticed by all the others around and some began to criticize and judge her for wasting the expensive oil on Jesus!

There is no time of worship or praise that we spend at the feet of Jesus that is too expensive or wasted! It is the most precious and priceless time we can have with the Lord no money can ever buy this or gold or silver!

It is free for you to have as a woman today you can approach that place of worship and unleash your most fragrant praise and thanksgiving unto the Lord! Her life had been broken into pieces from the mental torment the quilt and unforgiveness of her past! Today is the day to UNLEASH your praise and thanksgiving for where you were and where Jesus has brought you to! He freed you from your bondage and He gave you a new beginning filled with peace, joy, love and purpose! Stop thinking of your past stop giving it life and authority over you today! It is finished Jesus paid it all for you and me so come now and gather at the feet of Jesus with praise and thanksgiving! I love to spend time praising Him with thanksgiving it fills my heart with joy and it unleashes the presence and glory in my life because Jesus is worthy of it! He deserves all the honor! Our life style should be one of worship and praise with thanksgiving everyday!
