“The Seasons of Life”

Greetings to all you wonderful women of God, I am writing to you to encourage you in this glorious season of fall that is upon us. This is the time of year that all the trees are in their full glory of colors! All year they have gone through many challenges from winter’s cold and snowy winds dormant. They looked like no life was in them yet they survived! Then came the spring rains that showered them yet they survived and began to bud!! Then came summer the heat of the piercing sun and heat beating on them all day long almost dried up. Full of leaves they survived the heat of the day! Now here we are with the fall season upon us and the trees are in their full glory as the leaves show their majestic colors! What a radiant site to see these trees standing tall and full of the most beautiful colors they are giving to the landscape of this land! How majestic and how radiante they stand yet in the prior seasons they were going through storms not knowing if they would have made it to the fall season! Now they portray their glorious colors and strength! It is that way for us also as women we have different seasons we are going through! Like the seasons in nature. We can be at times in different ones and there is always a lesson to learn for us as we go through those seasons! The storms of life come at us and at times it is difficult to see the end or outcome of that storm! I love the scripture in Psalms 96;12,13 Let us rejoice because the fields are full of harvest in the fall. The reward of the farmer and the workers that tended to that field through the storms of the seasons not knowing if he would have a harvest! As I look around the area where I live all I see are fields and fields of the fullness of God’s bountiful provision. Yes the farmers worked hard at seeding and planting and yes there were many rain storms and much heat and sun beaming on them through the summer season! Praise the Lord the fall has come and the harvest is ready to be picked and the baskets are full of wonderful provisions! Our God is faithful in that way to us also! You might be tired or discouraged today because the season’s have been hard and the storms have been harshly beating against you! Maybe even tossing you from one side to another! Our Lord will never forsake nor will He ever leave you! “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you or forsake you” (Deuteronomy 31:6). “While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night, shall not cease.” “Galatians 6:9” It is in those seasons that we are tried and tested, as we remain on His strength not ours as we stand declaring His word we are being brought forth into our harvests. Standing and not giving up! Looking at the fullness of His word that was spoken over us and to us! In those difficult seasons we see that His hand is in it and He is with us! Rejoice yes rejoice don;t let your heart be weary or troubled today as you look to Jesus our Lord know that there is nothing too difficult for Him and that our situations are just for a season then the new season comes in and there is a new fresh coming forth and renewing in life! I have had many different seasons in my life and difficult ones where I thought I was going to die. I couldn't take it anymore. I felt like there was no more hope for me. I was ready to give it all up! I began to cry out to God and as I did that I began to see it was just a season I was in and that season was going to change soon! Hallelujah for His mercy and His Grace for He is the one that controls the seasons of the earth and He controls the seasons of our life! I learned a lot during those storms in those seasons. My life changed, I changed and I needed change!! He worked on me ever so gently with His loving tender hand! I got to a place where He wanted to be and that was at His feet pouring out my praise to Him and surrendering my desire and will to Him! He took me from a place of nothing, a place of hopelessness to a place of Joy, Peace, Love, Gratitude! I will ever be grateful to my Lord for He knew what I needed to bring those seasons of change into my life! The scripture tells us we are changed from glory to glory every day as we surrender to His will! So you see the trees teach us a lesson as they stand in the Fall full of their glorious colors as those leaves radiate the sun on them. We see the fullness and strength of the trees even though they faced the storms in the prior seasons! My prayer for you today is that you experience the glorious touch of the Lord in every season you are facing today!
