"I Love You Written In Red"

Here we are the month of February and it is the month in which all over the world we celebrate love! Most people really don't know what true love is. Love is a word that is used so loosely today it is not really used with the right intent! People say I love you but they are only words and empty words at that! This is the kind of love the world offers! Jesus spoke about love many times in the scriptures! True love pure and heartfelt love with compassion and care! The word love is an action word, it is not a word it demands action with it! If i say that I love you as my friend or my fiance but I never call you nor do I spend time with you, if I never make time for you and celebrate you as my friend or fiance then I am not demonstrating that love with action. In the book of Corinthians chapter 13 we see a description of love!

1 Corinthians 13;1Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.

This is not talking about an eros love this is the description of an unconditional love that is beyond our humanity! The eros love comes with conditions and a hook, but the agape love comes with no conditions and is pure! This is God's love for us and humanity! The Greek agapē, in the New Testament, the fatherly love of God for humans, as well as the human reciprocal love for God. The term necessarily extends to the love of one's fellow humans, as the reciprocal love between God and humans is made manifest in one's unselfish love of others. In Christianity, agape from Ancient Greek (agápē)) is unconditional love, "the highest form of love!

We must understand that love without action really isn't love, in order for us to demonstrate that love to one another there needs to be action involved.

John 3;16 “For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.

This is telling us and demonstrating that God so loved the world meaning us humans, that He gave to us His only begotten Son to die on the cross for our sins in order for us to reconciled to Him! That is how much God loves us humans and still loves us. This is how we should love one another with the agape love of God! The world is in need of this love today families are in need of this true love in order to experience emotional healing and restoration in relationships! Jesus asked Peter in the scriptures Peter do you love me?

John 21;15 After breakfast Jesus asked Simon Peter, “Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?” “Yes, Lord,” Peter replied, “you know I love you.” “Then feed my lambs,” Jesus told him.

Jesus wanted Peter to take care of His lambs meaning His people by loving and caring for them protecting them as He called them lambs! Jesus had great love for humanity the same love God the Father had and has for us today! There is a hunger in the world for love today and it is sad that people are looking in the wrong places for it! Places that will only bring them to destruction it can me in a bottle of alcohol or in a joint of drugs or in perverted sex and unhealthy relationships. This is not the love that Jesus spoke about and the love that He is wanting to give to us! So today let me ask you do you love God? Do you really love the Lord? IF so it will change your life God's love changes us and He is longing for us to demonstrate that love to Him and others around us! The cross demonstrated the love of God and the love of Christ for all humanity!

John 13;34-35 34 “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.35 By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” Here the Lord is giving us a commandment that we need to love one another and this will demonstrate that we belong to the Lord!

There is this beautiful song that describes how much the Lord loves us it is talking about the crimson red blood of Jesus as he was nailed to the cross for me and you and it was love that held Him there.

In letters of crimson, God wrote His love On a hillside so long, long ago For you and for me, Jesus died And love's greatest story was told

I love you, I love you That's what Calvary said I love you, I love you I love you, written in red

Down through the ages, God wrote His love With the same hands that suffered and bled Giving all that he had to give A message so easily read
